Student Complaint Policy

The Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies has a Certificate of Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The school’s programs are approved by the Texas Workforce Commission and the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC).

In accordance with the Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Administrative Code, Title 40, Part 20, Chapter 807, Subchapter P, Rule §807.301, the procedure for filing a student complaint is as follows:

  1. If at any time a student is dissatisfied, the student should discuss the issue with his/her ICDS Instructor.
  2. If the student feels the issue is not or cannot be resolved by the instructor, he/she should contact the school’s Director of Training in person, by calling 866-523-2669 or by email:

Students dissatisfied with the school’s response to their complaints or who are not able to file a complaint with the school, can file a formal complaint with the Texas Workforce Commission, as well as with other relevant agencies or accreditors, if applicable.
